Survey, Inc. is an
established Professional Land Surveying and
Development firm located in Windham, Maine.
Founded in 1979 by Robert Farthing, Survey, Inc.
has grown to included a staff of two
Professional Land Surveyors (PLS), two Land
Surveyors in Training (LSIT), a project manager,
and a supporting cast of draftsmen and clerical

| Although we’ve kept
the size of the business small, our clientele
gets the benefit of precision surveying by a
qualified staff, using the latest in survey
technology, including dual receiver static GPS
and RTK, giving sub-centimeter accuracy. We also
provide the benefit of an extensive catalog of
previously completed surveys, which often gives us a head
start, and a competitive edge on new projects.
After thirty years, it’s hard to find a location
in southern Maine which we have not surveyed
before!
Over the course of our 30 years as a
professional surveying firm, Survey, Inc. has
been asked by our clients on numerous occasions
for additional services outside of the customary
surveying field.
One very common request has
been for assistance with development and
construction activities. Therefore we are
pleased to have expanded our scope of services
to include Land Development and Construction
Management through the addition of an
experienced commercial project manager.
So, while we still
do a lot of residential boundary surveys, we have also
spent much of the last decade working for major
organizations and developers.
